Ms. Rowling has filed a lawsuit against the law firm Russells Solicitors for a Breech of Confidentiality. It is now revealed by the BBC that the case has been settled out of court. The firm has agreed to pay the author’s legal fees, and also to make a substantial payment, by way of damages, to the Soldiers’ Charity, formerly known as the Army Benevolent Fund.
Over the past three weeks, the Great Hall was open to all fans of MuggleNet for an adventure in test taking, the MuggleNet Ordinary Wizarding Level examinations, or O.W.L.s. Exams were available in all twelve subject areas available at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Many of you did quite well on these difficult tests. Here are all of the results:

As we have been reporting, Bloomsbury has been releasing new cover art for their new adult version of the Harry Potter book series. Now, they have just released the latest cover for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix on their Harry Potter Facebook Page.
According to a new article in The Chronicle of Higher Education, The Sunday Times journalist, Cal Flyn, sent an urgent email to Professor Patrick Juola asking him to utilize a computer program at Duquesne University called Java Graphical Authorship Attribution Program (JGAAP), that he had designed to recognize writing tics undetectable by human readers.

If you haven’t started your exams yet, head over to the Great Hall to register and receive your candidate number in order to begin taking your MuggleNet O.W.L. exams. The exams will be available through Sunday, July 28 (ONLY 4 DAYS REMAINING).
