The Guardian reports that Warner Bros. is leading the charge, having already cultivated a relationship with Rowling during the making of the Harry Potter films.
Rowling has updated the official Robert Galbraith author site with new information regarding her choice of pseudonym and the process of writing The Cuckoo’s Calling.
According to USA TODAY The Cuckoo’s Calling will place at the top of this Thursday’s USA TODAY Best-Selling Book list, but under the name of Robert Galbraith, and will account for both print and digital copies.

The Telegraph has just reported that a first edition of The Cuckoo’s Calling signed by “Robert Galbraith,” J.K. Rowling’s pen name, has sold for 2,950 GBP. The book was sold through AbeBooks, a UK website that specializes in secondhand and rare books.
