This week’s Fan Art ‘The Mermaid’ by MuggleNet reader Kate depicts a portrait of a merperson from the Black Lake. Kate used chalk pastels to create darker shades within the mermaid’s face and to expertly create the wispy colorful hair. Good job Kate!

Utilizing water colours and a pronounced set of shadowing, Dylan’s portrayal of Buckbeak makes for quite the lovely piece.
