In the lead-up to the release of the second illustrated book and following the second successful Harry Potter Book Night on February 4, Bloomsbury UK has revealed its upcoming “Potter” plans. With the 20th anniversary of “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone” looming, plenty of plans are in place to celebrate this exciting anniversary.
As part of the celebrations for Harry Potter Book Night: A Night of Spells, Bloomsbury Children’s Books launched the first official global search to find the world’s favorite spell from the “Harry Potter” books. With over 2,700 votes, the Patronus Charm emerged in first place, followed closely by the Summoning Charm in second place with the Levitation Charm finishing in third.
After last year’s success, 2016’s Harry Potter Book Night, an event organized by the British publisher of the “Harry Potter” novels, Bloomsbury, will soon be upon us! In honor of the occasion, the publisher is launching a global search for the world’s favorite “Harry Potter” spell!
Good news if you’re on the hunt for the perfect Christmas present for your “Potter”-mad friend/family member, want an excuse to introduce someone to the “Potter” books, or just want to continue growing your own collection. Bloomsbury UK is hosting a big online Christmas sale at the moment, which includes the Jonny Duddle “Harry Potter” covers.
