Back in June, it was announced that Bloomsbury and Scholastic would be releasing a new edition of “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” in 2017, complete with a new introduction from J.K. Rowling, a new cover by Jonny Duddle, and interior black and white illustrations by Tomislav Tomić, a Croatian children’s book illustrator. While we still don’t have the cover of that quite yet, we do have something pretty close – the cover of the new Hogwarts Library!
Scholastic Sales of “Cursed Child” Soar Over 2 Million in First Two Days
It’s been three days since the script book of “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” was unleashed upon the world, and love it or hate it, you can’t deny one thing – the book’s tremendous selling power. This morning, Scholastic announced that sales within the first two days of release reached over 2 million copies.

In 2016, the annual London Book Fair featured Scholastic and Bloomsbury, US and UK publishers of the “Harry Potter” series; Little Brown, which publishes the UK editions of the “Cormoran Strike” series; and Templar Publishing, showcasing the “Harry Potter” coloring books.
