Last week the release date for the “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” film was finally announced for 2016. Now, the rumors have begun to fly over who will direct the film and who will be cast in the main roles. Today, a strong lead has emerged for who could direct.
Since its release in October “Gravity”, directed and produced by Alfonso Cuarón and David Heyman, has won countless honors – most recently at the Oscars. Now, the highly-praised film has earned another honor.
David Holmes, who stood in as Daniel Radcliffe’s stuntman on the Harry Potter films, suffered a horrific accident back in January 2009 while on the set of Deathly Hallows, which left him paralyzed for life. Said accident happened while rehearsing a “jerk back” stunt during a flying scene that caused him to severely injure himself, including breaking his neck. Reported by the Mirror, Holmes has recently discussed the accident and how it obviously changed his life forever.
Gravity may have aced this weekend’s Academy Awards, but David Heyman, producer of the Harry Potter series, is wasting no time in promoting his latest project. Returning to his passion for adaptation, Heyman has been in development for his new live action film “Paddington.” Offering only the briefest glimpse of the bear in question, this newly released teaser offers an introduction to Paddington’s Peruvian roots.
