As we reported over the weekend, “Deathly Hallows – Part 2” passed the $1 billion mark, becoming the highest-grossing “Potter” film of all-time.
As of tonight, it has made $1.008.5 billion, good for No. 8 on the All-Time Box Office list.
While it comes as no surprise given how fast tickets have been selling since the July 15 opening, “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2” today will cross $1 billion in ticket sales.
Unsurprisingly, “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2” is doing extremely well at the box office. When will it hit $1 billion?
“Deathly Hallows – Part 2” continues to remain no. 1 around the world despite its fall to “Captain America” here in the United States over the weekend. It pulled in $13.7 million in the United Kingdom, $13.7 million in Germany, $12.1 million in France, $8.5 million in Japan, and $8.4 million in Australia.
In France at least, Warner Bros. has released two new posters for “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2” which include great new stills from the film.
“Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2” brought in $48 million over the weekend here in the United States, coming in behind “Captain America: The First Avenger.”
