We’ve all been excitedly anticipating Sir Kenneth Branagh’s (Professor Lockhart) live-action “Cinderella”, starring “Downton” Abby star Lily James and Helena Bonham Carter (Bellatrix Lestrange), and it’s very nearly time for the film to be released. In the build up to the release next week, a number of behind the scenes photographs have been released.
A new “Harry Potter” collection has been released on the website, Oscars.org, highlighting some of the key moments from the history of the film series. Plus, the 2015 Oscar nominations have been announced.

A lot of excitement was shed last week when the cast announcement was made for the upcoming “Star Wars” film, Domhnall Gleeson (Bill Weasley) being just one of the actors to join the team. Adding on to that fan excitement, it can now be confirmed that John Williams, composer of the rest of the “Star Wars” saga, and of course composer of the first three “Harry Potter” films, is set to return once more and work his magic (pardon the pun) on the new film’s score.
John Williams, the legendary composer responsible for the iconic music in the “Potter” film series, is to conduct a benefit concert aptly titled “John Williams: Maestro of the Movies” in Portland, OR.
John Williams, composer of the first three Harry Potter films, returns to the Hollywood Bowl on August 30 and 31. This year he will not only be conducting the Los Angeles Philharmonic in some of his greatest hits, including Raiders of the Lost Ark, Star Wars, and hopefully Harry Potter, but actress Julie Andrews will be joining him for a tribute to director Blake Edwards and composer Henry Mancini.
