While we all eagerly await the fully illustrated edition of the first “Harry Potter” book, set to be released in October, Bloomsbury has announced something exciting for collectors – there will be a deluxe edition of the book.
Of course the big news today from Bloomsbury UK was that the successful Harry Potter Book Night would once again be taking place next February, giving us plenty of time to prepare. Bloomsbury also revealed that they would be releasing new hardback adult editions of the complete series this coming August, in the UK.
Bloomsbury UK has just announced that the second Harry Potter Book Night will take place in 2016. The first Harry Potter Book Night took place earlier this year, and MuggleNet was lucky to be involved in the Waterstones’s Piccadilly event, alongside illustrator Jonny Duddle.

Today Bloomsbury revealed the latest image from the upcoming “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone: Illustrated Edition”, illustrated by Jim Kay. The new illustration is of Flourish & Blotts and joins six other previously released illustrations.
Last year we announced that Bloomsbury UK would be publishing an academic bibliography of J.K. Rowling called “J.K. Rowling: A Bibliography 1997 -2003”. The book, by Philip Errington, was released yesterday, February 26, and our friends over at Always J.K. Rowling have an exclusive interview with the author.
