Previously, we reported that “Harry Potter” author J.K. Rowling had created a luxurious bracelet that was set to be sold at Sotheby’s to benefit Rowling’s charity Lumos. On Tuesday, December 10, the Lumos Maxima charm bracelet sold at Sotheby’s London for 20,000GBP in aid of J.K. Rowling’s children’s charity Lumos.
TheLucky13Challenge is holding an auction of celebrity-autographed Christmas cards at reasonable prices, and hundreds of public figures have taken part, including many Harry Potter stars.
We posted just this morning about Emma Watson donating her Burberry heels to the Small Steps Shoe Auction, which supports the Small Steps Project. The UK-based charity provides emergency aid, shoes, and food to impoverished children and communities living in poverty around the world, as well as working to help the children in these communities get an education and the adults find jobs.

To help celebrate its third birthday, Oliver and James Phelps recently paid a visit to one of the Teenage Cancer Trust units at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital in Birmingham. They even presented the teenagers with something very special in honor of the celebrations: an arcade machine.

On December 7, for 24 straight hours, the film commentary podcast What Are You Doing, Movie? will be setting its sights squarely on the Harry Potter series and doing commentaries for all eight films in a row to raise money and awareness for the Against Malaria Foundation.
