The big week is finally here! In two days, WWoHP will have a live webcast announcing the final details about the Diagon Alley expansion, and this weekend the park will host a three-day Harry Potter celebration.
We’ve seen many pictures of the construction on the Diagon Alley expansion at Orlando’s Wizarding World over the past few months, but a new series of photos shows the expansion to be closer to completion than ever before, courtesy of Twitter user UOR Buzz!
As we eagerly await the January 23 webcast that will fill us in on the latest Diagon Alley expansion details, we can sate our curiosity with new images of the expansion that are appearing online.
Pottermore, the digital platform for Harry Potter, will be taking part in “A Celebration of Harry Potter” at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando Resort in Florida from January 24-26, 2014, and presenting an exclusive audio clip from J.K. Rowling.

In the wake of Universal’s announcement that there will a special announcement about the Diagon Alley expansion on Janurary 23, special trailers teasing the park’s opening have been released.
Harry Potter film stars Evanna Lynch, James Phelps, and Oliver Phelps are slated to appear at “A Celebration of Harry Potter” – a special event hosted by Universal Orlando Resort and Warner Bros. Entertainment that will celebrate all of Harry’s adventures, from the beloved books to the feature films.
As more and more pictures of construction on the Diagon Alley expansion have been appearing on the Internet, fans have been anxiously awaiting an announcement of the park’s official opening date. While Universal Orlando is keeping that secret a little while longer, they’ve given us a fun clue about what we can expect in the near future.
