Matthew Lewis, as a patron of the Bethany Hare Smile Foundation, will provide signed certificates to participants in the charity’s fundraising event Walk of Smiles on June 1. The Smile Foundation raises money for children with terminal or chronic illnesses, and was founded by 13-year-old Bethany Hare.
A broom used during the filming of Harry Potter will be exhibited at the New Walk Museum and Art Gallery beginning May 4 as a part of the “Magic Worlds” exhibit. There is no word yet on whether the broom displayed will be Harry’s Nimbus 2000 or his Firebolt, but the broom is being touted as the exhibit’s main attraction.
