MISTI-Con releases new bulletin – includes MuggleNet’s programming during convention

MISTI-Con promises to be an incredible and intimate “Harry Potter” convention that is taking place at the beautiful Margate Resort in Laconia, New Hampshire from May 9-13, 2013. The resort will be for convention attendees only, and no Muggles will be allowed for the entire weekend. MuggleNet staff members will be attending in force, and today, the convention organizers of MISTI-Con released our official programming information.

MuggleNet Staff weighs in on why “Hunger Games” outsold “Harry Potter” on “Amazon”

Recently, “Amazon.com” reported that the “Hunger Games” Trilogy had surpassed the “Harry Potter” series in total sales to become the Best-Selling Book Series on “Amazon”. “Harry Potter” fans were not pleased with this, so two of our MuggleNet Staff members decided to write an editorial to try and explain how this was even possible.

At LeakyCon, the Harry Potter Alliance (HPA) Executive Director Andrew Slack launched a new campaign at a press conference called Equality FTW. So far Equality FTW has raised almost $40,000 for immigration, education, and LGBTQ equality.
