We all love the “Harry Potter” soundtracks, and so we were thrilled but not surprised to hear bits of “Hedwig’s Theme” in the “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” trailers. We now know when we’ll get to hear the full soundtrack!
It may seem like decades since we last saw a “Harry Potter” film, but with the release of “Fantastic Beasts” growing closer with every passing day, Funko has unveiled a range of Funko Pop! Vinyls of the main characters. Take a look here to see all the figures you’ll be breaking into Gringotts to steal Galleons for!
The excitement of MuggleNet’s visit to the “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” set got my mind racing. How could Muggle history have affected the magical world? I decided to do some research into my theories!
Rumor alert! Will Eddie Redmayne attend PopFest to debut new “Fantastic Beasts” footage? Check out what we’ve learned and join the discussion regarding what could take place this October!
Readers of MuggleNet, we must admit to you today that we’ve been keeping a secret from you – a rather big one. We’ve wanted to tell you for a long time, but as Secret Keepers for Warner Bros., we knew we had to wait until the time was right. Today, it finally is. Last December, along with several other online news outlets, MuggleNet visited the set of “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” at Leavesden Studios in London. What we saw there was amazing, and we want to share it with you.
Of the central cast, Colin Farrell is the one I have the most trouble reconciling into the “Potter” universe. Even as he walks into the room for our interview, even though I knew he was coming, I am still mildly surprised – what does this movie star have to do with “Harry Potter” and “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them”? Like so many things about this new franchise, he’ll take some getting used to, but soon enough I’m sure, it will be hard not to think of him as a part of this world.
It’s Katherine Waterston’s day off, but she’s gamely come out to speak with us at Leavesden anyway. Waterston has thought a lot about her character Tina Goldstein and her place in the magical world, and it’s immediately apparent that she’s just the type of person in whom fans want to rest their hopes for the future of Rowling’s cinematic world. I have the feeling she won’t let us down.
One of the most exciting parts of the set visit was getting a chance to glimpse a few of the creatures that will be appearing in “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them”. While I’m sure this is far from a complete list, it’s fun to begin to imagine what kind of chaos these magical animals will be causing in 1920s New York.
