“Postman Pat: The Movie” is a new film starring Potter-alumni Jim Broadbent, Rupert Grint, and David Tennant – who portrayed Professor Slughorn, Ron Weasley, and Barty Crouch, Jr., respectively – and is due to be released on May 23. Recently, however, RadioTimes.com released some exclusive images for the film.
The first trailer for the upcoming CGI family adventure, based on the popular children’s animated program, is now online. The film contains the voices of several Harry Potter cast members, including Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley), Jim Broadbent (Professor Slughorn), and David Tennant (Barty Crouch, Jr.). Great news! “Mojo,” the dark comedy that stars our very own Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley) has extended its run at the Harold Pinter Theatre in London’s West End. The play will continue to run for an extra two weeks after its original finish date.

Originally, I thought “Slughorn” was just a disgusting name, reminiscent of all the other “slug” images in the books, from Ron Weasley throwing up slugs in Book Two to the “busted slug” crushed by Kevin’s mother at the Quidditch World Cup in Book Four. But as is often the case with J.K. Rowling’s names, there is a lot more to it than that.
