It was back in May that we were given our first glimpse at the upcoming “Beauty and the Beast” film, starring Emma Watson as Belle. Today, July 7, the first official poster for the film was released and shared by many of the cast members across social media.
From announcing new roles to raising money for charity, our favorite “Potter” alumni have been busy over the last couple of weeks. Here are some of the highlights for you.
Emma Watson sat down with the Independent while promoting her latest film, “Colonia”. In addition to discussing her role in the film, Watson speaks a bit about being a former child star and her upcoming role as Belle in “Beauty and the Beast”.
Emma Watson has been invited to join the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. The actress is among the 683 new members invited to join the Academy, the largest and most diverse class of new members in its 89-year history. Other invitees include “Fantastic Beasts” actress Carmen Ejogo and “Harry Potter” film producer David Barron.
There are quite a few similarities between these two intelligent ladies.
