Author J.K. Rowling is continuing to post new writing for Pottermore, the digital platform for “Harry Potter”, with a series of “live” reports from the 2014 Quidditch World Cup, to be released on Pottermore.com starting today.
In a recent interview, Bonnie Wright – who portrayed Ginny Weasley in the “Potter” films – was questioned about the upcoming “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” movie based on the book by Newt Scamander. She also spoke about the out-of-context comments from Rowling regarding her thoughts on which character Hermione should have ended up with.
Ginny Weasley gets a lot of hate in the fandom, and given that we so often criticize those who don’t read the books, I have to wonder why. Although the film franchise did not do the youngest Weasley justice, anyone who read the books knows Ginny is one fierce lady.
