Lumos Launches Indiegogo Campaign to Furnish Special Education Unit in Moldova!

We all already know about the amazing work Lumos does to protect children worldwide and keep families together, and this December, the charity is asking for our help! Last year, Lumos raised $30,000 to build a Special Education Unit (or SEU for short) in Ialoveni, Moldova, which will serve as a place where disabled children can get the special attention they need while attending school. Now, the organization hopes to raise $35,000 to furnish the SEU with the equipment these children need to learn in a safe and comfortable environment.

All Aboard the Hogwarts Express

O, September 1, you majestic date. Now hurry, everyone, the train leaves at exactly 11 o’clock! t’s the day when young witches and wizards cross through platforms nine and ten to board the Hogwarts Express. The Sorting Hat will sing its song, and students will head off to bed with full stomachs, awaiting their first day of classes.

“MuggleCast” Celebrates Its Tenth Anniversary

On August 7, 2005, a new medium was born. “Harry Potter” literary discussion, which was then taking place on a multitude of Internet forums, chat rooms, and website comments sections, first hit the airwaves of the iTunes podcast directory in the form of “MuggleCast”. On that first episode, the trio of hosts, which included MuggleNet staff members Andrew Sims, Ben Schoen, and Kevin Steck, discussed recently released promotional stills from the fourth “Harry Potter” film, “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire”.
