Timothy Spall named Best Actor at Cannes
Timothy Spall (Wormtail) was surprised this week when he was named Best Actor at the Cannes Film Festival. Although Spall has previously been nominated for BAFTAS, he has always missed out. Congratulations!

This year’s Cannes Film Festival will feature films starring former Potter alumni Timothy Spall (who portrayed Peter Pettigrew/Wormtail) and Robert Pattinson (who portrayed Cedric Diggory). “Mr Turner” stars Spall as the artist JMW Turner, while Pattinson will play the lead in “Map to the Stars”.
